Anne-Christine Habbel has been the managing director of the Institute for Information Systems (iisys) at the Hof University of Applied Sciences since the fall of 2015, thus expanding upon her experience in the fields of digitization and technology transfer between science and business.
With its focus on IT research at small and medium sized firms, iisys establishes close relationships with companies for joint digital projects and prototypes.
In her previous positions, Habbel has worked in a variety of technology sectors, including at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Siemens and the city of Karlsruhe. She developed concepts for a wide variety of technology campaigns for municipalities and build up a new IT fair. She established the Upper Frankonia network of eBusiness pilots at the Hof University of Applied Sciences as a project for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
