Supply Chain Digitization (SCD)

The Supply Chain Digitization research group is dedicated to innovative solutions for the digitisation of the production process and supply chain management. The group consists of collaborators with diverse backgrounds in technology, engineering and business who work together to create a comprehensive understanding of the digital supply chain ecosystem.

The main goal of the research group is to develop strategies and tools that enable seamless digital manufacturing in real-world conditions. To achieve this, the latest technologies in the field of digitalisation of the supply chain are investigated. There is also close collaboration with industry partners to test and implement these solutions in real-world scenarios, with the aim of improving efficiency, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction.

The research group has a particular focus on systems integration, data analytics and artificial intelligence. It uses these technologies to enable end-to-end supply chain visibility, optimise inventory management, improve production planning and increase supply chain resilience.

The research group aims to help drive industry change and improve business competitiveness in an increasingly digital world.
